Who is eligible?

Ukraine nationals and their spouse/children who are currently in the UK under any immigration category. They must have had valid permission on 18th March 2022 or had permission which expired since 1st January 2022.


How do I apply?

Applications can be submitted online on the UKVI website. Applications are free.


What documents are required?

Just your passport. Applicants will also need to give biometrics at a UKVCAS centre.


How long can I stay?

You will be granted 3 years permission to stay in the UK.


Can I enrol on my university course with this visa?

Yes, you can. Depending on the dates, you might need to switch back into the Student route at the end of the 3 years. We can help you with this. The UK government have also announced that you would be eligible for Home fees and HE student support if granted this visa.


Can I work on this visa?

Yes, you can work full time on this visa.


Can I switch into other routes in the UK?

Yes, you can switch into other routes. However, you will not be eligible to apply for the Graduate route after you complete your studies.


Can I access public funds?

Yes you will have access to public funds such as child benefits and universal credit etc.
