TeamBU Birthday Parties

Get your party guests excited to come to your child’s SportBU party with SportBU branded party invites. Once party payment is received you will be able to request a download of the invites and print off the party invites yourself.

We offer a number of party extras, designed to make your child’s party extra special.

Simply select your choice(s) on the SportBU enquiry form. Party extras include:

Bouncy castle: 

Add some extra bounce to your child’s party with the SportBU bouncy castle!

Available at a cost of £35 for one hour (includes an extra member of SportBU staff to supervise).

Didicars:

Let the birthday child and their friends burn off any excess energy on fun Didicars.

Available at a cost of £30 for one hour (includes an extra member of SportBU staff to supervise).

Please advise attendees that the party starts 15 minutes before, so we can ensure a prompt start.

If you would like to add any extra children to the party, we will need to know final numbers at least 2 weeks before, as there may be an additional requirement for extra staff which will incur an extra charge.

You are welcome to decorate the party food room as you like, balloons, banners and bunting etc is all accepted – the room for the food is one of our studios so it is a blank canvas for decorating. Set up can only be guaranteed for 15 minutes prior to the food room time slot (please check with staff as there may be longer available depending on other party bookings on the date).

We provide bin bags and have cleaning products available, our staff will be on hand to help tidy up.

Parents are welcome to watch from inside the hall, however we do have a coffee shop onsite which is open during term time which we recommend parents to use whilst children participate in our activities. There is a window and door which connect to the coffee shop so parents can still watch their children.

Suitable clothing is essential for both safety and maximizing enjoyment whilst taking part in our activities. Trainers are ideal.

Yes, during term time only we have both the Starbucks coffee shops open in the SUBU building.

We know that the finishing touches make a big difference to any party. That’s why we open up our party food room to you (to decorate how you wish) up to one hour in advance of your allocated time slot for food and drinks. This is however dependant on availability on the day. Our staff will always be on hand to help set up and pack away so please don’t hesitate to ask us for help.

No - our parties are self catered. 

We provide water, jugs and plastic cups for the party, please feel free to bring any squash if you would like. Please bring a knife / cutlery / candles if you are bringing a cake

• Birthday cake: Surprise your child and their friends with a birthday cake (or cupcakes if you’d prefer) from HannaCake. A large birthday cake is available from £65 and cupcakes from £15.
• Bouncy castle: Add some extra bounce to your child’s party with the SportBU bouncy castle! Available at a cost of £30 for one hour (includes an extra member of SportBU staff to supervise).
• Didicars: Let the birthday child and their friends burn off any excess energy on fun Didicars. Available at a cost of £30 for one hour (includes an extra member of SportBU staff to supervise).
• Face painting: Watch your party guests faces beam with delight as they get their faces painted by the Diamond Faces team. There’s also the option to add a glitter tattoo or transfer too. Choose from a number of themes which you can link to your party including animals, entertainment and neon. Available at a cost of £70 for 20 faces.
