Our Muslim BU and AUB (Arts University Bournemouth) students and staff are invited to come together for the month of Ramadan through a contemporary art and calligraphy project.
The project allows participants to illustrate An Ayah from The Qur’an through art and calligraphy. The final pieces of art will be displayed in the AUB Student Hall Gallery from 24 to 28 April. They will also be displayed in the Muslim Prayer Room in the Faith & Reflection Centre in Talbot House, Talbot Campus.
If you would like to book your place, please email Sister Tama, Islamic Faith Adviser at BU and AUB. The project takes place in The Gallery at AUB every Friday from 24 March until Eid Al Fitr, from 11am to noon.
If you are a student observing Ramadan, you are welcome to use the space in the Faith & Reflection Centre in Talbot House on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays to share and pray together from 5.30pm to 9.30pm.
