We have a thriving and exciting research community, which sees staff and students collaborating across different departments and disciplines. Working on impactful research projects is one of the cornerstones of our vision as a university and we are very proud of the research that is produced by our staff and students each year.
The quality of our research was recognised in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 assessment exercise, in which 94% of BU research was found to be internationally-recognised or above, with 19% found to be world-leading in quality.
