About the conference

The British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) celebrates undergraduate research from across all disciplines. Each year a different British university plays host to the conference, welcoming undergraduates from all over the country as they present papers, posters, workshops and performances. In 2017, BCUR will be coming to Bournemouth University (BU).

This prestigious annual conference will take place on 25-26 April 2017 and is a chance to celebrate the achievements of students as they take their first steps into the world of research. We’re looking forward to welcoming students from all disciplines as they share the insights and knowledge they’ve gained through carrying out research.

Here at BU, we’re proud of our unique fusion of research, professional practice and education, and that we provide opportunities for our undergraduate students to get involved in research from the very beginning of their courses. You can read more about some of the exciting projects our students have taken part in on our Fusion page.

Further information about BCUR can be found on its website.
